After 3 years in New Caledonia (2008-2011), working as
part of the UR CAMELIA, then UMR LOPB, I'm working
in Paris as part of the Research Unit : UMR
(7159) IPSL-LOCEAN (since July 2011). More
specifically, I'm working as part of the new team "CYBIOM"
(Marine biogeochemical cycles). My research interest
remains devoted to the study of the roles of boring
microflora in modern carbonate coastal ecosystems,
especially in coral reefs. I'm interested in reef
carbonate dissolution processes, benthic primary
production and coral health in the context of global
change and the rise of anthropogenic activites on coasts.
My current national partners are : UMR ENTROPIE-Réunion,
UMR LSCE, UMR MCAM, UMR MARBEC-CUFR Mayotte, Parc Marin
Naturel de Mayotte, Réserve Marine Naturelle de la
Réunion, Aquarium Tropical de la Porte Dorée and various
private partners.
