After 3 years in New Caledonia (2008-2011), working as part of the UR CAMELIA, then UMR LOPB, and since July 2011, I'm working in Paris as part of the Research Unit : UMR (7159) IPSL-LOCEAN. More specifically, I'm working as part of the team "BTP" (Biogeochemistry, tracers and Paleoclimatology) which focuses for instance on ENSO, T°C, pH reconstructions, calibration of geochemical proxies used in modern and fossil archives such as coral skeletons, in tropical environments (Africa, Pacific Ocean, etc...). My research interest remains devoted to the study of the roles of boring microflora in modern carbonate coastal ecosystems, especially in coral reefs. I'm interested in reef carbonate dissolution processes, benthic primary production and coral health in the context of global change and the rise of anthropogenic activites on coasts.
