Tribollet: Ile des Pins & récif de Lifou)
I am studying coral reefs worldwide but especially in the Indo-Pacific Ocean. I'm also interested by temperate-substropical carbonate systems. My main goal is to highlight the role of boring microflora in carbonate cycle across systems to improve biogeochemical models aiming at predicting carbonate systems' fate by 2100. I'm the PI of a starting project in the Mozambique Channel which includes reefs from Eparses Islands and Mayotte (2018-2020). I am still running a long-term experiment on bioerosion in New Caledonia (South-Western Pacific Ocean) and I'm involved in the Tara Expedition in the Pacific Ocean (WP : Paleoclimate and Bioerosion). In the Mediterranean Sea, I'm collaborating with an Italian team as external consultant on the MUSAS project : "Monitoring and enhancing Underwater Cultural Heritage in Campania, Puglia and Calabria (Italy)" (2018-2019).
